On Friday the 28th and Saturday the 29th of October we were fortunate to attend the first international conference on research on disability and other frailties, at the Espace de l’Océan de la Chambre d’Amour in the Anglet convention center near Biarritz.

The theme of this conference was “Water crystals, minerals & vegetables, memory, benefits, and the future. “

The guest of honor was Dr. Masaru Emoto.

The conference was organized by l’Oeuvre Ithurria to benefit disabled children in the Basque Country and Japan.

This conference gave us the extraordinary opportunity to meet and talk with fascinating presenters including:

Dr. Masaru Emoto and Béatrice Bonin, who we’ll speak about in our post “Encounters in Anglet.”

Daniel Briez, who we had already met at the Salon Zen in Paris.  During this conference we were able to attend two of his talks on  “Crystals and energy transfer” and “Colors and color perfumes, the quantic perception.”

Dr. Christophe Andréani: “Perspectives of Tibetan medicine on heavy metals.” This former dental surgeon has spent the past few years studying ethnomedicine, or the study of ancient medicines, shamanism, and all the ancestral approaches towards healing or preventing sickness.
And many others…

We’ll go back to Anglet to further enjoy its magnificent scenery, which we’ll surely tell you about in a future post.

The conference was organized by l’Oeuvre Ithurria to benefit disabled children in the Basque Country and Japan.

This conference gave us the opportunity to meet two incredible people:

Dr Masaru Emoto :

He twice gave an exceptional talk on his work with water: “Water Crystals and the healing power of water.”  Dr. Emoto has published several books of photographs of water crystals.  He regards these photographs as proof that that the structure of crystals changes in response to various stimuli such as the music of Bach or hard rock, as well as simple words like “Thank you.” His research demonstrates that human consciousness is intimately linked to water and it is essential for humanity’s well-being that we become aware of the fundamental role water plays in all of our lives. His message of peace: LOVE and GRATITUDE for the WATER which we are made of and nourished by.

Bératrice Bonin and her wonderful family :

One of Béatrice Bonin’s daughters, Julie, has a severe disability that prevents her from communicating.  Nevertheless, this tiny being shows a surprising amount of energy and willpower for her age, a testament to her suffering but also her ability to see the world.  Julie has entrusted her parents with an important mission:  “To accomplish her ideal of peace by helping all the other children like her (children who are different, no matter what label they have been stuck with) live at home with their families, and to teach people to respect them.”
To accomplish this mission Béatrice Bonin created the organization l’Oeuvre Ithurria to benefit children with disabilities.
